Have a new BIL that wants to get a HD shotgun in Buffalo.  Does anyone have a decent FFL that will do a perform a transfer for a reasonable amount?

Thank you - Chuck

Really? I haven't been there since the fall, but as of then Ryan was still running it out of his garage.

That's what I was told like 2 years ago when the plan was hatched. I was buying some .308 there if I recall.

I liked the son and the daughter, but the old man could be very condescending.

This is  wrong. Swat is still swat but under a new name. Lake Erie is a home based FFL that Iv been using for a few years and have had nothing but great service.

I hated swat but recently had to do a transfer through them and it wasn't so bad.

You definitely  can't go wrong with Lake Erie Arms

ETA: per the ATF database going back to Jan 10 SWAT was own by 2 guys under the name H&H. And LEA is under Ryan.

Kinda what I thought.

Ryan seems too young to have a daughter old enough to be on the books for a business. Plus he has a state job, doubt he'd give that up for the swat store.

Nope, not the same spot at all.  Ryan will take care of you for sure.

Me to. He used to do all my transfers for free since when I was using him for transfers I was ordering them while I was deployed. He also held them without charging me storage for up to 15 months.

Then I had to goto DDs ranch which really sucked for adding pistols in Erie county.

For some reason I think he passed away, either that or turned in his FFL.

I retract the part about Don giving me free tranfers. He did however hold on 4 rifle for over a year while I was deployed.

The guy I was thinking of was Dennis from Dens Gunshop. He was a great FFL as is Don.

Don's alive and well - he was handling transfers at the Cheektowaga show a few weeks ago.

He wants to buy through Bud's.  Better price by about $75-100 over brick and mortar shop prices.
