Now, that explains a lot - according yo the news, Greg Ball was one of the senators that Moreland Commission was investigating when Cuomo disbanded it. Now it'sclear why Ball was sucking Cuomo's ass all of a sudden.

Well - FUAC and FUGB.

It's a fuckin mess, even those who were outspoken for our interests and seemed like die hards turned into blow hards.

i knew there was something wrong when Ball came out to support Cuomo. Everyone on the forum was asking: "What does Cuomo have on Ball?" Well, apparently there was something that the Moreland people found and reported to Cuomo and was used to blackmail Ball and othets.

I still say it's all a giant game of Chess where the anti's (black) versus the pro's (white) are the pieces being controlled by two opposing assholes who really don't care about the pieces, only in how they can use them to fulfil their own self aggrandizement. There's money to be made, power to wielded, and control to be exercised.
Long held and closely guarded are the secret alliances used to pit the peasants against themselves....the enemy is the enemy from within.

A few days ago I read a news story that said that Moreland was in the process of investigating 15 state lawmakers when Andy shut it down.

eta: I think this was it.  http://nypost.com/2014/08/04/cuomos-anti-corruption-panel-nixed-15-probes-report/

No, that isn't suspicious at all.

NY is lost.  The cancer that is corruption has eaten it from the inside out. I am afraid it is past the point of no return.  There is too large of an "entitlement" culture and mentality here. Everyday at work(healthcare field), I see a whole bunch of twenty somethings with no desire to work because everything is handed to them and paid for by us working stiffs.  They also have no desire to do anything for themselves, like find out what type of "insurance" i.e. Medicaid Managed Care, they have.  This is because they know if they bitch, moan, make a scene, or just play dumb, that someone will do it for them.

The politicians know this and exploit it at every turn.  This is their voting base.  Their meal ticket.  Their guaranteed re-election.  Give the masses what they desire and the masses will give them the power they desire.

They will sell their souls to the Devil for this power.  The ones that "retire early" or decide not to run for re-election most likely have something to hide.  They all lie and are only looking out for themselves.

I wish I had it in me to stay and fight, but in 24 days I will leave the state that has been my home since birth for the last 43 years.  I leave behind friends and family that I will miss, but I have to leave while I still can.

Eta:  FUCK GREG BALL WITH AN AIDS INFECTED DICK, FUCKING TRAITOROUS BITCH!!

Looks like the Moreland Commission was mostly a tool for fuac to use against republicans and strengthen the communist numbers in the senate.  That POS should be in prison.

Since Ball didn't vote for the SAFE act I guess they didn't get enough on him.

It's not that they didn't get enough, it's that his unSafe "no" vote (twice if he could have) was before Moreland found dirt on him.  His traitorous refusal to come out against Cumhole was over a year later, if memory recalls correctly.

We already know there were those that were allowed  to opt out or vote no for appearances.
Even my representative that voted "no" isn't going to get my vote because she didn't do anything to stop that bullshit and hasn't made any headway in its repeal.
Rejecting those in Office and those "selected" by the Partys is a strong way to send the message of discontentment.
