Legislative Report #15 is now online. http://www.nysrpa.org/files/nysrpa-lr.pdf There are a bunch of pro-gun bills on Assembly Codes agenda for Monday. Don't expect them to go anywhere. |
|
The stuff in the beginning is the same stuff the Assembly constantly passes. The question is will the partially RINO controlled Senate pass this crap? There are three seats that could be lost to the Democrats on Long Island, although Long Island elects useless anti gun Republicans anyway. |

cliff notes? We're gonna get fucked even worse than we got fucked already. They can make all the fucked up laws they want. Cause I do too. I get my drunk retarded buddies together on a Saturday night and we sit at the kitchen table and make fucked up laws. I actually just passed a law that says the ar platform is exempt from all laws. Feel free to make your own shit up guys We the people right |

Quoted: I pretty much assume at least two of those seats are flipping. The seat that TOB Supervisor Venditto's son is running for could very well stay Republican since they are a political dynasty. Either way, as noted, the Long Island Republicans are useless on defending gun rights. Quoted: Quoted: The stuff in the beginning is the same stuff the Assembly constantly passes. At that point it becomes a question of how far down the rabbit hole does Cuomo want to go. He'll never admit it but the hit on his popularity from SAFE has stung him. I think there's some bills that he'd sign but I don't know if he'll sign the worst bills while he still has presidential aspirations for 2016 or 2020.

you're not worried about handing over the senate to the dems then? Quoted:

so should i vote for Skelos or not? you're not worried about handing over the senate to the dems then? Why? Because the GOP did such a great job stopping unSafe? Yeah, I'm quaking in my boots thinking about a dem majority. |

Skelos requested the message of necessity and scheduled the unSAFE Act for a floor vote in the dead of night after allegedly assuring the opposition groups that no action would be taken on the bill. Skelos and the LI/NYC Republican's are at the end of the day solely responsible for the enactment of the 2013 unSAFE Act. I guess your choice is to either cut your nose off to spite your face or cut your balls off and reward Skelos by sending him back to the Senate for another two years. |

Quoted: Why? Because the GOP did such a great job stopping unSafe? Yeah, I'm quaking in my boots thinking about a dem majority. Republican Gov. Pataki and Senate Republican Majority Leader's Bruno and Skelos are responsible for enacting into law every anti-gun bill for the past thirteen years. Pataki even went so far as to veto the Eddie Eagle gun safety school education bill which passed both the Assembly and Senate with overwhelming support from both parties. |

That Eddie Eagel bill didn't actually do anything. It was total BS from the start. |

Maybe so, but it didn't stop Schneiderman and his merry band of NYC anti-gun moonbats from claiming victory by keeping the NRA "pro gun culture" out of NYC/NYS classrooms which was an outright lie. |
