I have Time Warner cable and their the biggest piece of fucking shit I have ever delt with. Cable boxes take a shit every month ( I have 5). Now they switched all the fucking channels around a few weeks ago, can't find shit anymore. I'm thinking of going to Fios. Who has it? Reviews? Need phone, cable and Internet.

FUCK TWC! I'd give my left nut to get Fios (and both nuts for Google Fiber), but where I live it's either TWC or Satellite. When I moved in I had cable, phone and internet for $100/month. After a year they upped it to $170! So, we cancelled it and reopened in my girlfriend's name for $100/month for another year . You'd think they'd reward long term customers with reduced rate, rather than entice new customers with "deals"... Finally we decided that all we really needed was internet. A year ago I was paying $39/month for just internet and TWC made bullshit excuses, twice, to up it to $45 and then $56/month... FUAC is practically on par with FUTWC.
ETA: TWC has a monopolistic presence in a great portion of NY and that is EXTREMELY bothersome to me... |

If you have a cell phone go with google voice( also need to create a google mail account free) I use obi110 it's a device you can get on Amazon for like 50. 00 bucks. I don't pay a dime over the price of the box. Taxes are a killer with other phone services. Only two gotchas are if your on conference calls after 3 hours it drops you. International calls you would have to pay google to use it. The requirement if cell phone is just a backup if they néed to contact you. I had vonage prior and got tired of the taxes they are whacking you now. I have google voice for a year now and for free it's great, |

Same package, triple play, ultimate HD 35/35 and HBO. Contract ran out, I had them for about 6-7 years now, they offered a $10 discount on another 2 year contract. Screw that. Shopping around now. |

We have TW internet, digital cable and phone. Monthly charge is about $180. Aside from the cost issue their service is top notch. Last spring we had a problem with the on demand and HD channels. The two service guys that came probably went above and beyond to fix the problem. And this was Mother's Day Sunday. That being said: I have looked for less expensive options to no avail. FIOS isn't available in my area and due to the trees in the neighbor hood any dish setup has been ruled out.
We're all stuck paying no matter which provider one choses. |

They own the only game in town for interwebs though , the dirty pricks. After getting dry fucked enough I went with this...-> TW ball suckingC -web access only runs 50-60$ Dish or DTV 100-+ ( prefer dish) Vonage for landline 30$+- My .02 |

I have just FiOS internet for $104.99/mo and it has been that for a year and a half until NY state decided to add a $.99 surcharge for "Municipality Construction" or some crap, so now it's $105.99. I ditched TV and Phone and use the interwebs for TV/Phone and I have a cellphone, so.. Yup. Don't miss it one bit, definitely don't miss the extra $150 for an extra nothing, or the 16$ DVR charge each month from TWC. |
