| Because the mechanisms do not exist . And that isn't by accident . Contact your rep. and ask if he ( or she ) would be willing to sponsor a state bill allowing recalls of criminal ( or ineffective ) politicians . If there was a LARGE organized public outcry it might be hard to say no w/ a tv camera in your face . Could not be done w/out the help of media . Ask each and every one of them to take a PUBLIC stand on their view of the constitution , the results might be very telling . |

There is and always has been a ruling, elite class in NYC. They designed the game, set the rules and guess what? The House ALWAYS wins.
How do you think it is Sheldon Silver has ruled this State for as long as he has? Who do you really think put Prince Andrew in orifice? (BTW: FUAC) Locally, we pretty well run our own show so long as Albany gets their cut and no one challenges their status....there aren't too many folks in the North Country that can or will shell out for 4-5-6 $digit "contribution" plates to purchase the Political Power of those they selected for Office.
