He's deluded.
A lot of people from that part of the state are. Up here...not so much. It's a whole different world and a whole different mindset. Good example. I have a pretty good friend from Long Island (still) I went to college with 26 years ago. We played in a band...and we lived in a party house for 4 years...so I knew him pretty good. About 80% of things we agreed upon...but when it came to guns...he was a liberal lunatic. I brought my shotgun from my parents house to the house I lived in so I could hunt in Arkwright, which was about 10 miles from our house. The dude flipped his lid because there was "a gun in the house". I was 21 or 22 at the time. He kept makin' all these effed up comments about the gun and how stupid it was to have it in the house...and about guns in general. (it was stored safe and unloaded). To this day I really don't understand the ridiculous over the top reaction to this. Guess I was brought up different. So I imagine Cuomo came from the same kind of backround. Only he has POWER. |
