Thanks in advance |

Thanks in advance No, you are not correct. If the magazine holds more than 10 rounds of ammunition, it has to have been manufactured before the 9/1994 ban date. Unmarked would be difficult to prove as post-ban, but not impossible, and in any event its legal status is determined not by markings but by date of construction. Undated mags are then determined by the manufacturer, some went out of business before the ban. If the floor plate is blank...I dunno. It may be impossible to prove, but it would still be illegal. Some manufacturers have changed their markings without adding dates (such as OKay that now sidestamps their mags with the logo.) |

I have a couple of Sanchez and Adventure Line with no markings and black followers I believe these were pre 94. I was going to change the followers to anti tilt magpuls and send them Someone else would have to comment on whether the mag bodies are pre-ban, but you can change out the followers, springs and floor plates without additional issues as long as the mag body is in fact pre-ban. What people tend to do is order 10 of the say, Brownells mags, put on Magpul stuff and say, "hey look, no date, all good." |
| yeah I have heard alot of different stories I took these apart no inside markings no outside markings (just the floor plates. These are well worn mags as they resemble my nam era colt 20 rounders in finish wear. I have been looking to see if there were any physical changes between pre and post ban mag bodies and cannot find anything. |
