Anyone know of an FFL that will accept a pistol from an out of state C&R FFL holder? I'm on LI, but would be willing to travel a bit.

I would think most any dealer that handles transfers would accept a handgun from a C&R holder, after all it IS a Federal Firearms Licenses, and in spite of all the contrary advise "A licensed dealer may accept any firearm from any individual of any State." 
Check the auction sites for a list of accepting dealers in your area....If you were an hour North of Syracuse, them I know one that would do it for you.
