I have a guy that wants to buy a long gun from me off EE, but he can't seem to find an FFL dealer willing to transfer from an individual.
He is located in New York but I am not sure what part. Can anyone help by listing FFL dealers that will accept transfers from individual for long guns?

Thanks
Jason

Knowing where he lives would be important. I know several dealers in my area who accept from a non FFL...with that being said NY is a big state.

most Long Island dealers I know of won't take transfer from an individual. Have him pay the extra 15-20 bucks it'll cost you to use an FFL.

the man the myth legend, the one and only vic at volko... like theres anyone else even worht mentioning. (although it is gonna be a bit of a hike for this kid, but thats his fault for living so far away right

quick protip for anyone who finds themselves at or near volko anytime soon and also takes the time to switch out their tires/rims for the winter months., about a quart mile east down the block is the best tire guy in NY

The place is called AL's hubcaps.  I almost don't want to tell you what Al looks like cause he is literally the 'diametric' opposite of the picture of the guy you have imagineed in your head right now.

Al is tall, long haired lanky, laid back hippy of a white guy, but hes also cool as hell,  and more importantly, if you don't appreciate paying some trained drunken gorilla a big wad  of cash to do you the favor  basically taking a claw hammer to your rims n tires every year in  order to fit a 50 dolar snow tire on there for you, then Al is the guy to see.

The machines in his shop are the state of the art hunter computerized deals, plus his guys really know what they are doing.

They also do a ton of rim repairs and curb damage work as well, and i watched one of the guys repair a set of those beautiful rims that Audi used to use on their latemodel S4's which they no put on the Gallardo, and he literally somehow makes the rim look brand new again, how one does this by only removing more material I do not know, but it was very cool, and the price was pretty reasonable on that as well.

also when the winter is over and its time to remount your summer z rated 35 aspect ration tires, he charges you the same amount he did the first time around, instead of just arbitrality like quadrupaling the price becauae theres a little less sidewall or whatever.

Finally this was just weird but both times I was there two different workers both pointed to the bfl  i have on a magnet on the rear trunk and asked if it was a bolt from an M4. I didn't get the sense tha either of them were members here but it was the only time someone actually saw a bfl and knew it for what is actually was.

anyway al is a good dude. for a white guy who runs a 'hubcap shop I'm positive he does pretty well for himself over there.  Its one of those garages where your positve theres gotta be a dozen bodies buried all over he outside of the building and then you step inside the first bay and every single thing in there is italian or German

Like everyone has said Victor at Volko supply is the guy to talk to. Only a $25 transfer fee and he has no issue accepting a transfer from a private individual as long as they include a copy of their drivers license with the shipment.

I'll add another +1 for Volko. I've used them more than a handful of times and had good experiences.

Rather than start another thread with a similar question, anyone know someone who'll hook me up if I'm buying a few lowers at the same time. I doubt it's just me but it's really frustrating trying to pick up a few ~$50 stripped lowers for basic builds when the transfer fees are almost as much as the hardware. I'm looking to buy 3 or 4 lowers if possible. Thanks in advance.

You could always try driving over to LRB Arms.  He's got a ton of lowers and I believe gives volume discounts.
