Anyone ever purchase just a Glock frame ? Can you register a frame on your permit without a caliber designation ? I would probably want to make it a full time 22 if I could get one, if that makes any difference.

I bought a gen 2 G23 frame and put an Advantage Arms .22 upper on it. It is on my permit as a 40 S&W. The woman at the clerks office told me to list it as whatever caliber the frame was originally.
