Only semi-auto handguns manufactured on/after 01/01/2013 would be required to be microstamp ready. No bill is reported out of the Assembly and scheduled for a floor vote unless it has the votes to pass it. The Democrats currently have 96 member's vs. 51 Republican's so it will definitely pass the Assembly and reported to the NY Senate where it will die a lonely death in the Senate codes committee. |
