Anyone have one of these on their rifle? I am building a post ban 14.5 with a perm attached muzzle device (toss up between PWS 556 comp or the Battle Comp 1.5 that has yet to be released) with a Vltor VIS-2 and wanted some opinion on the weight and balance of it. Not doing a super light weight but I would like to keep the rifle somewhat balanced. Also does anyone know where to order it from? The webstore appears to be messed up or closed or something |

SLR15.com ........I've seen them in person..........very similar to an MP5 stock. Good Idea if you want a shorter stock that is street legal in NY, without having to pin a collapsible. I believe if you go to industry forums it is under either Defensive edge of SLR15.
Sully is a good guy and knows his shit about training and how to build great ARs. |
| I have one, adds good balance to the firearm that has a 16 inch barrel. Though my complaint is that there are no mounting points or even the metal loop for a sling as seen on a2 stocks. Overall it is a good, solid buttstock. When I get home from work tonight I'll measure the stock out for length |

Also this option:

I believe the Sully is 9" They are heavy and have no sling points but it should balance your build nicely. Somewhere on here I saw someone do a mod to add a single point socket to it but can't find it at the moment. I looked at the website and it looks like you can get a socket mod for an extra 35 bucks |

I run one and love it. It is solid and thus a bit heavier than it looks however balances very well on my 16" Spikes "Lightweight" upper. I am rather sure length wise it is equivalent to one click out from closed on a standard M4 stock. I use a DD A2 One Point Sling adapter on mine and it works perfect.
Hope this helps. |
