Thinking about a mad dash to shoot the 4th of July along the east river.
I lived up in Valhalla 15 years ago and shot the 4th from the Lower/Mid Manhattan side (FDR Drive in Manhattan). Want to be on the east side of the river between Brooklyn and Queens somewhere I think this time. I think between the Brooklyn Bridge and the Queensboro bridge. I am looking to get the Manhattan skyline in the background for all the shots. Any of you guys know a great spot to better pin point a great point of view? Or better yet, any of you guys have a good connection to get me on top of a building over looking the festivities? I've read Macy's fireworks display is on Sunday night? And now they are doing it on the Hudson? Any one confirm this? |
