[ARCHIVED THREAD] - New Build = great fun

As we all know half (or more) of the fun is in the build. I just finished one and it was a blast.

Started with a matched A3 upper and pre ban lower along with carry handle from a Colt Comp HBAR, added a Colt M-4 bbl and Magpul stock kit,Colt BCG and correct color CH...woo hoo.

Took her to the range yesterday to function test and BZO, no malfs ( IMI M193) and the BZO was a VERY satisfying 2R 2U at 50 meters. After that I was ringing steel from 50 to 200...woo hoo.

This may be a new work gun.

This is true, building one yourself and knowing that you took the time to fit every part properly is a lot of fun and it definitety inspires confidence in the finished product.
