Anyone got steel laying around in long island ny, Willing to pick up, Looking to make some homemade .22 steel shooting plates.

If you're only going to be shooting .22's, it might actually be cheaper to just buy a cheap spinner from a local shop.  I got a spinner for like $10 at Gander, of all places.  It was rated for anything up to .44mag, so I used my .22 and 9mm on it and it held up fine.


(............then I got busy with the AK and destroyed it, but that's a whole 'nother story)

Having bought targets (Champions Choice are good for the money) as well as cut & welded my own, it would seem the commercial versions are a better deal unless you've got scrap or access to cheap/free metal....look around, you never know what'll turn up.
