| Came up blank on a quick search. I am trying to find out if NYS requires trigger locks on long guns during transport in a car? Went thru a deer check last week and officer asked if we had any deer, we answered no. Then asked if we had any guns (we did have blaze orange hats on), we didn't so we replied no. Got me thinking as to why they would ask about guns and I just figured to check if they were unloaded. I then started thinking about my trigger locks. I usually have them on, but was wondering if it is mandatory. |
