Guys,
Went there today between 10 AM and noon. I expected the place to be dead, but there were a lot of shooters there. Fudd city! (No disrespect intended) 
It was mostly guys gearing up for hunting season. I counted four black rifles. A Bushy with an Ace Skeleton stock and an EOTech, an RRA with an EOTech, a funky DPMS with an unusual pistol grip, and an Armalite with a scope and a new stock. One of those newer Magpul stocks. (Hope it was a preban Armalite.) I went there to shoot my relatively new G19. I had been shooting my ARs there all year but a recent trip to Calverton showed me that shooting at Brookhaven had turned me into a "bench rest cripple." I will not shoot my rifles anywhere else but Calverton....at least until I can hold the rifle still again. |
