I believe there was a recent thread about making an adjustable stock "legal" in NY. I can't locate the thread. I'm just starting another build, I've got a adjustable stock I'd like to use.  Its paid for and I'm cheap so why buy another. Can it just be pinned so it there is no adjustment or is it more complicated than that?

Thanks
Tom

I think you're talking about my thread. It is legal to pin a stock for use in NY.

Thanks! That almost seems too easy for NY.

Let us know if you need any pointers, there are a number of people here that have pinned their stocks....including me  It's pretty straight forward, in fact...........

I posted this here a while ago.  There's a bunch of pics of blind pinning an emod stock then putting epoxy over the end of the pin.
