I was going to send in my application for the PA out of state permit and had a couple of questions. Did you guys that have already sent in for your license select self defense on the application ? Should you select more that one reason if applicable or should you just choose the self defense ?  When you photo copy your pistol  permit do you send in a copy of both sides ?

Self defense was what I selected.  Nothing more necessary than that, really.

Did you copy both sides of your permit ?

I did copy both sides of my permit.  Not sure if it was neccessary, but I figured I'd rather be safe and not have the app kicked back.

I have the FL permit, so I didn't bother with the PA, but I'd also say self defense....keep it simple.

BTW....I like your sig.  Unforgiven is my favorite western.  Alot of great quotes in that scene alone.

Pay attention to the color codes for states that do not recognize a non-resident issued CCW. You should also be aware that if you have a NY CCL that is restricted to target, hunting etc. carrying outside your listed restrictions is a criminal offense in MI.

A NY CCL is good in TX and 11 other states even though NY doesn't have reciprocity agreements with any other state.

It's going to make for some interesting and fun lawsuits once we get incorporation for PA folks to sue NYS for reciprocity.  They might even be able to pull it off now.

Sent mine out to Centre COunty Sheriffs office today. 2 week wait? That seems pretty fast to me.

I am waiting on my NY permit out of Nassau County. I am sure the permit will be restricted to "Target & Hunting". If I apply for a PA Non-Resident permit once I have my NY permit, will I have a restriction on the PA license or are all PA permits non-restricted?
