Is this NJ Legal , seems to fit within the guidlines  :

Under 48 ounces   ,  15 rd mag ,  and the magazine is in the grip.

Don't know if they would consider the body of the pistol a barrel shroud , and if they did , that would only be one evil feature that I can see.

It looks like the "front handle" is an integral part of the receiver, so that makes it a NO-GO imho.

Your question about the frame being considered a barrel shroud - it's no different than an XD or a 1911 - IT'S NOT A BARREL SHROUD imho.

(and a little pricey)

Don't know what you mean by "front handle" being part of the reciever , how would that constitute a No No.   If you click the link to the webpage , and scroll down under the picture, click on Specs link , it gives a cutaway and part description. The model shown is the law enforcement only model , but the civilian legal has the same parts , minus of course ( forward grip, folding stock, silencer).  It does look like the barrel is threaded , or they call it a barrel guide, but if thats the only evil feature, it should still be ok.

Isnt there something in the NJ law about a magazine that protrudes below the pistol grip?

Don't know, but IIRC the 15 rounder sits flush.

ETA. Arfcom NJ has declared them to be legal. Many times.

Just want to make sure, wouldn't want to order one and then have it refused by FFL.  According to the regs , it's legal  :

. A Semi-automatic pistol that has an ability to accept a detachable magazine and has at least 2
of the following:

1. an ammunition magazine that attaches to the pistol outside of the pistol grip;
2. a threaded barrel capable of accepting a barrel extender, flash suppressor, forward handgrip, or
silencer;
3. a shroud that is attached to, or partially or completely encircles, the barrel and that permits the
shooter to hold the firearm with the nontrigger hand without being burned;
4. manufactured weight of 50 ounces or more when the pistol is unloaded; and
5. a semi-automatic version of an automatic firearm.

Heres a photo with a 15 round mag , it fits flush.  FYI : that price is for the LE model , not the civilian.

It doesn't weigh more than 50oz which is the biggest reason here. Legal or not legal, dont be suprised if a NJ FFL declines it just because of the way it looks

I hear ya , and calling the state police doesn't help, they won't know either. Maybe i'll just fax the brochure to my FFL and see if he will transfer it.
