I'm thinking of buying a laser bore sight. Any one have any suggestions. I'm looking at Laserlyte and Bushnell as they seem to have good reviews. Also, is it worth it to get the "high precision" model? Or the krypton(green) laser model. They are almost $100 more.

I've got the Laserlyte high-precision kit with a red laser (nabbed it from MidwayUSA on inventory reduction for $60 ), and have used it on several long guns and pistols, from a .22 to a .50, with good success.  It's put me on paper at 100yd. each time, and was also useful for dialing in some Crimson Trace grips.  I haven't had a need for the higher-intensity green laser.  The reflective target that comes with it has been fine for seeing the dot in the daylight, though it might be handy to get an extra reflective target (stick one @ 25yds, the other at 100yds.  Sight in at the 25 first to get close, then fine-tune at the 100)

I have the red deluxe kit. The red Laserlyte deluxe kit can be bought on ebay for about 50.00, it comes with everything you will need including the level tool.

I have a Laserlyte, it works well. In the past I would bore sight about a 100 rifles a year or so.

Now, not so much.

If you're sighting in scopes check out the Leupold Zero Point. Easy to use and accurate.
