No comparision IMHO. The AUG is a much better proven design. I've shot the FS2000 and didn't care for it at all. It was not a comfortable fit for me.

I'm sure some people love them but I'd take the AUG over them anytime.

Agreed. I feel the butt stock is to wide, making it uncomfortable to shoulder. And what the hell is going on with that foregrip?

Again, agreed.

Oh man i hated the FS2000. When i first saw one at a gun show, i picked it up and i didnt even have to shoulder it before i wanted to put it down. Just felt very uncomfortable and difficult to hold. Never shot one but im sure i wouldnt like it.

As far as the AUG goes, +1
Recently got a change to handle one and they are cool shit, ill tell you

I had one when I lived in NY. The FS2000 is an incredibly NICE looking gun, but I see where some people have issues with the comfort of it. The front handguard is strangely comfortable without having a great grip to it. There are kits available to mount a vertical grip though. It's best feature, besides being a bull-pup, is the front ejection port. It's great that it eats the same ammo as your AR and takes the same mags (for the most part). But, it's hard to take apart and clean, there is no bolt hold-open after a mag is depleted, the trigger is not smooth, most newer rifles coming out have the ambidextrious charging handle (FS2000 does not), not compatible with ALL AR mags (ie., polymers, magpuls, etc), the iron sights it comes with are SH!T making an optic a MUST, and it's more expensive than it's worth. I sold mine before moving.

With all that said...I want to buy another! Go figure!

Lugerman, you're on target.

I contacted MSAR today and spoke with Karl Walter (VP).  He informed me that the STG-556's are available with compensator for NJ to include a 10 round magazine.  What they do is every so often they produce a limited run for NJ/NY distirbution.  He further informed me the will be making a production run either late this month or early October.

The distributor for NJ retailers is called Interstate Arms in Mass., contact #978-667-7060.  They apparently have NJ retailers which put in orders with Interstate Arms.  Again, according to the MSAR rep., they have sold STG-556's in NJ.
