Ok...I need help.  I know that the M14S is on the banned assualt weapons list in NJ.  And I know that the Springfield M1A has been deemed "different enough" to be legal in NJ.

My question is...what about the other aftermarket, semi-auto only, M1A/M14 clones.  Specifically, the LRB M14 and the Fulton Armory and Smith Enterprise M14's built on the LRB receivers?   The LRB is semi-auto only, like the Springfield, so does that also make it different from the banned M14S (which is capable of being made selective fire full auto capable)?

I already own a Springfield M1A and am interesed in having an LRB built rifle as well.  I just don't know how the laws apply and can't seem to find any information.

Anyone have any experience they can share?  Any NJ residents own anything other than the Springfield, particularly an LRB built rifle?

Thanks for any guidance you can share.  Navigating the NJ gun laws are always an adventure.

Any post-ban M14 clone is legal.

I guess I just have to make sure the flash hider doesn't have a bayonet lug (or get a muzzle brake) and I should be all set.
