| What is the leagl difference between a flash suppressor and muzzle brake? |
|
First of, it's brake, not break. A brake is going to redirect gases up and/or to the sides, reducing recoil and muzzle rise. This produces usually more seen flash, and signifigantly increases perceived blast/concussion to the shooter. A flash hider will reduce/eliminate flash from the escaping gases. A muzzle brake will not do this, with the exception of PWS brake/combo. You can see it here That is an expensive choice, but from the little I know, it's probably the best thing going for chumps like us stuck in communist controlled territory. RRA offers some ban compliant options. From what I understand the tactical brake is the least offensive in terms of noise. They should send them from the factory permenantly installed.
