I've read the NJ Statutes over and over, all I can find is the 15-round limit when regarding mags. My friends and I were at the Valley Forge Gun Show and a couple different guys refused to sell my friend a WASR-10 with the reason "You can't own any gun that takes double-stack mags in NJ." We told him it was bullshit, there's only a 15-round limit no limit on types of mags or guns that can accept a certain type of mag. One told us that it's a 10-round limit, and 15-rounds only for a .22 and they can't be double-stack. Does anyone know where this came from? Did they slip in a new restriction to NJ law without notifying anyone but gun dealers? |
