I am a legal resident of Sullivan county but commute from NYC to Sullivan County Everyday. Are their any neiborhoods in PA that I can commute from NYC area under 2 hours (Maybe I could do a little more.) The area would have to be a good family area which I could raise my 2 year old daughter in. Also, The school discrict would have to be good. YES! I'm sick of NY. The commute will only be temporary until I find a new job on the other side.

Thanks everyone!!

You might also consider Connecticut, which is a Class 3 (full auto only) and shall-issue.  One hour on the train will take you to quite a few places.

Four hours a day driving?

Wow... I get restless if I have to drive an hour. I couldn't imagine dealing with such a huge commute.

Yep I retired all right. I got a Job as a Security consultant for a large firm that pays way too much for me to sit on my butt and do nothing. Plus, the wife and I will kill eachother if I was home all the time.

I never knew about CT. I thought I always saw them with restrictions on websites. I think I'll go over to their HomeTown forum and ask.

Thanks Guys,

CT has an AW ban that in some respects is more restrictive then the current NY AWB.  Colt AR15 and Sporters are banned by name with no G/F exception. Real estate, taxes, utilities and general cost of living are not much better then NY.

BTW, the commuter roads in CT are as bad or worse then in NY.
