Hello Guys,
Just curious to if there is any limit to the amount of guns you can purchase in a certain amount of time. I checked the NJ State Police website and couldn't find anything. Permits just came in and I found some good deals on some nice pieces. I just want to make sure if I decide to purchase 2 in the same week or so. I wouldnt want to raise any flags or anything.
Thanks Alot

There is no limit on the amount one can purchase.

There is an extra form that a dealer submits to BATFE if 2 or more handguns are purchased at the same time.

"purchased at the same time" or within five consecutive business days.

Jersey City has a "one firearm a month" law, but I think that is only a concern if you live in Jersey City or are buying your firearms at Caso's, the only gun store in Hudson County.

FWIW, the first three days that I had my NJ FID I: received a Bushmaster DCM from my father; went down to Sarco's in Stirling and picked up a used .22 WMR for $80 + 15; went to Caso's and bought a pump-action Henry .22LR.

The Jersey City ordinance you mention only affects HANDGUNS, not long arms, as per this earlier thread:

Mea culpa; I hadn't realized that the Jersey City ban was discussed here already, and it appears that I misinterpeted Mr. Caso's words regarding that law :-)
