found this in the local paper yesterday...gonna check it out on saturday with my son.....i'll have plenty of pics...will post em-- "Saturday, May 27, 2006 Sunday, May 28, 2006 Bivouac - Living History 9 AM to 4 PM FDR Library Lawn The lawn in front of the FDR Presidential Library and Museum will take on the appearance of a WWII encampment on Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29. Period military vehicles of all sizes and soldiers in battle dress will be on hand to share their love of history with World War II enthusiasts, families, teachers, and students. Civilians are encouraged to look around and interact with the troops; guests are invited to ask questions, touch artifacts, and explore the military vehicles. Military uniforms, weapons, insignia, and vehicles from 1917 to the present day will be on display; throughout the day re-enactors will hold demonstrations of military equipment and explain what it was like for military personnel in World War II.
