I have a '76 BMW that hasn't been inside a dealership since I got it from my parents in '89.
Looking for a dealership that has an "old school" Beemer mechanic, someone who knows the ins/outs of boxer engines. Nothing I really can't do myself, but it's time for some new rubber and maby a few service points that were neglected over the years to be checked over.
Know of anyplace?

IM friends with the former service manager of  the now closed Imperial Motorcycle in Buffalo. They were the beemer dealer for many moons. He works on bikes as a side hobby now. Might be worth your time getting in touch with him, at least maybe he can direct you to someone who does it full time. IM me.

Max BMW in Brunswick near Albany/Troy.  Wrong side of the state, but a great shop.  They have former police bikes they give out as loaners while they work on yours.  "Ride the bike that pulled you over!"
