I have a buddy in Jersey who wants an AR. I may be building it for him, provided that it is legal! Looking through NJ gun laws, I'm actually thankful I'm in CT for once! Did monkeys write your legislation? As I understand it now, any post-ban configuration AR is legal provided that it isn't a "Colt AR15 or CAR15." If I slap an extra 20'' HBAR post ban upper onto a post-ban lower with an A2 stock, it should be legal, yes? I just want to verify this before I give this guy hope. - BG EDIT: The guy is Army ROTC... wants to hone his skills on an M16-like rifle. But both of us look like deer in headlights when it comes to NJ law. |
