I am convinced that the battle for guns in the state of NJ, and probably the country, is over. Why? Because we as gun owners are refusing to beat the other side. Dependence on the 2nd amendment is a futile endeavor. It is worthless unless we are to use it for its original intent and none of us want that. Our other option is to out flank them and render a beating from which the other side could not recover. There is a way and it is through the legal system but not with today's lawyers. Even those on our side are bound to the system and will not buck conventional thought or procedures. In order to beat the people who continually enact unconstitutional laws we need to be astute, cunning and willing to do some out of the box thinking. We also need a group of gun owners who can understand what is really going on in this country and will take up the banner, regardless of any preconceived notions. Our gun rights are in jeopardy because every part of the judicial, legislative and executive branches have become corrupt beyond recognition. Our Founding Fathers, for those who are interested, were adament in there stand on what it would take to keep this country free. The 2nd amendment is not a guarantee and none of our rights are enumerated in the Constitution. It is a falacy that has been foisted upon us for decades. When this country was originally formed, even the uneducated dirt farmer understood the meaning of the Constitution. Today it has become a living document with our consent. |
Thats the problem right there.....If we let them win when it comes time to use it for the intent it was made for. We will have no wat to do it since we gave up. Think about it some where down the line in the near future. |
In addition, there would not be any popular support for such action, condemning those who participate in such action to the roll of "terrorist". Unless a majority of the population were to support the principles of the 2nd amendment, and they don't, it is doomed to irrelevance. |

I didn't expect those two statements but they were interesting, thanks. I did hope to stir some questions about how this can be won without using the gun issue itself. Could it be that I an dead-on and no one on this side is really interested in winning this battle? |

Guys, The basic NJ gun owner wishes to stay in the closet. How do I know this? I tried many times to get people fired up over the issue and to get active in protecting this right. Some people showed up at the meetings and talked a good game but when it came down to actually participating in the process they walk away. The majority of NJ gunowners want it all done for them without doing anything except throwing $20.00 at it. It takes a lot more than a membership fee paid to defend your right. I asked for minimal participation. Here is the following that was asked by myself for the NJCSD: 1) Read the paper you get and if anything against gun owners and gun ownership is in the editorial section or the general section let the membership know so we could flood that paper with rebuttals. 2) Help me make a contact list of firearm instructors by dialing "XYZ" leaving your home info so that the NRA would send you a contact list of all instructors in your zip code and a master list could be made for contacting them to help us out (3 people sent the list). 3) Place cards in diferent area locations trying to get people to go to the NJCSD website in order to hear our message (10 people participated). 4) Helped organize a Trenton rally against the Million Mom March's push for the continuence of the assault rifle ban (Maybe 60 people showed). I do not know what the solution is my friends but the worst enemy of the gunowner IS the gunowner. We enjoy eating ourselves instead of banning together to fight or we leave the state so that the number of gunners continue to dwindle. RW3

I have a friend you swears that when things get bad, the gun owners who won't do the things that will prevent us from having a bloody revolution will suddenly come out of the woodwork and really bear arms. I find it hard to believe. Anyone, or any group that wants to know more about conducting a battle that the anti-gunners may not be able to combat please drop me a line. www.restoretherepublic.org |
