Can anyone recommend a good smith who can cut, thread & permanently attach brakes on AR barrels? I'm thinking of sending my barrels to Adco but I'd rather have the work done locally. I've asked a couple of local FFL/smiths but they seemed clueless. One told me that after he cuts my 20" barrels to 18" he would need to weld the crown so the chrome lining wouldn't flake off.  Another told me that it I would need to pay for 4 new saw blades because cutting one chrome lined barrel ruins a blade.  Assclowns! Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
