I have been looking at the MAC 90 and would like to make sure its Jersey legal. It comes with a thumbhole stock, but can I legally change the hardware? If NJ does change the AWB laws to make it a detachable mag and 1 of the AW options, would a MAC 90 still be legal, providing it had the thumbhole stock and not a pistol grip? Does it take regular AK mags or are there special MAC90 only mags? Does it come in .223 or do they make it in different callibers? Thanks in advance for any info....Mike

A little update. You can own a number of different AK47 style rifles in NJ.
You can, for instance, purchase an SAR-3 which is .223.
Sarco's sells them but I am unsure of the availability right now.

It's legal and you can change the stock, no problem.
