| Sorry, don't have an auger. There should be someone in the Hitchcock or Santa Fe area that can help. I see augers all over Santa Fe laying around. My ex brother in law in Santa Fe had a tractor mounted post pounder, we drove 6" top wooden posts in the ground with it. You could nail wire right on to them when finished. |

They have helped me before find contractors for fence work. The idea of renting a bobcat with auger is worth looking into. They are simple to operate, very simple. I have dug holes in this gumbo before, know what you are going through. A two man hand auger is a handful. |
