Ted Poe is a good man. My late mother got to know him from Diagnostic Clinic before she retired. She always said he was a true gentleman. I hope he can beat this.

Damn. Hate hear this. Hope he beats it. He came and spoke at the local gun club annual meeting a few years back. He seemed like a good guy.

Many years ago I was on a jury panel for a case in Judge Poe's court.

Though I was not selected for jury duty Judge Poe mailed me a note thanking me for jury duty and a news clipping of the guilty verdict for that particular murder case.

I have always thought he was a class act ever since.

I pray he beats this.

I was waiting to testify one day and he started yelling at me telling me to get out of his court. Pretty much ended any respect I had for him. That being said, I do not wish illness on anyone and do hope he beats it.
