Has anyone dealt with Houston FFL Dealer Transfers?  Any problems with them?

Houston FFL Dealer Transfers

I've called around to a couple shops and they are quoting $70-$90 for a transfer.  Houston FFL is advertising $15.

I want to get in on some PSA deals this weekend, but have never ordered online before and don't know an FFL to go through  other than shops in town.

Thanks!

Curious as well.

(I'll be moving shortly to that area and need to find a good FFL for transfers)

I have used them for 3 transfers and no problems.

They are the least expensive I have found, even without a CHL.

Just follow their directions to get the transfer done and you should be OK.

I personally have not used them but my friend did for two transfers and had no issues. I went with him and the worst thing I can say is that you need to set up an appointment. Bt for the price, I believe that it is well worth it.

I've used them for a few transfers and have a lower shipping there now.  They're GTG.

I don't know your location but in NW I've found 10Ring to be the cheapest. $20, seven days a week. Zero issues. Ever.

I ended up sending it to Lone Star Defense N' Arms on Long Point.  They advertise $15 transfers.  I'll post about how it when whenever my order comes through.

They're awesome. Really nice people to work with. We've known them for about 2 years, they treat us really well.

My schedule is "interesting" so an appointment wasn't that appealing.

I've used Lone Star Defense for two $15 transfers this year - no appointment necessary. Very, very nice people to deal with. They have a louge area in the store and offer free coffee or water. Nice place to just sit and talk guns.

Lone Star also has that "Gallery of Guns" order connection on their website. Order what you want from that website and it ships to Lone Star for free. I bought factory XD9 mags from them for $11.25 each - just tax - no shipping. Not sure if they are still that price.

When I saw the XD9mag price I emailed Dave at Lone Star to confirm the price was legit. When I picked up the mags he told me his wife commented "Why is he buying so many mags?"

Everything worked out well with  Lone Star Defense N' Arms.  They called me a couple hours after the tracking showed the item delivered to let me know it was ready to pick up.  They were very friendly and a  pleasure to deal with.

The Lonestar guys are great.  They just moved into a much bigger shop.  Have been using them for quite some time, and have bought a few guns from them.  Good people.
