| Anybody else watching this show? The streets don't appear to be closed for filming when doing stunts so I'm curious if DPD provides filming assistance. Thoughts? |

I was kinda joking...... The episode where they took the Sonic Camaro to Oklahoma City, they get pulled over for not using a turn signal, and Richard remarked... "all the stuff we have done on this show, we get pulled over for that...." The cars they do are bad ass but everything else is just BS they made up to get people to watch. The Sonic Camaro that took three weeks to find is sitting in the lot the next episode when Aaron was loading up his race car for pike peak. I also saw a article about the rare Firebirds they found was all made up in were only worth 50,000 not 500,000 or whatever they said. With all that being said I'm sure DPD knows about it in its all set up but that's my opinion |

I can recommend the Gas Monkey Bar n Grill, pretty decent food. |

I just don't see them doing anything illegal to look cool but I have been wrong before. |
| We went to the Bar and Grill in March of last year shortly after it opened. I figured it was kind of a gimmick building off the pop of the TV Show etc....but the kids wanted to go.......I was wrong. The food was good and varied, reasonably priced, we got in in a reasonable amount of time and the service was great. Very pleasantly surprised. |

The streets around the shop are pretty narrow. I always assumed they drive safely and then speed up the playback and add "VROOOOMMMM" sounds and a few "WOOOHOOO"s. I'm thinking about the particular intersection they do the donuts. Either police aren't blocking off the street or the camera crew/editor does a great job in cropping. |

I hear they also have a pretty nice concert venue there now too. |

That intersection is the west side of 35 at the Merrill underpass. They're located about a block west of the intersection. Their customers however, love to drive 40-50 mph down Merrill and run the stop sign at Ables Ln. mm |

Twin Peaks and Richard are partners in the Gas Monkey B&G with Twin Peaks owning the lion's share and paying Richard to keep the Gas Monkey name up. Remember the Twin Peaks episode? He formed a good working relationship with them at that time. |
