| So I recently dropped Comcast cable TV, had to stay with the Comcast internet service as its really the only viable option in my neighborhood. Currently using XBMC for movies and TV shows, but the wife is wanting some local news. I have seen antennas like the MOHU 50, but wonder if anyone in my area (Spring/Klein) use a similar antenna and how do you like it. Are you able to split the signal to use on 2 different TV's or would you need one per TV. I checked a site that said I am about 32 miles from the antenna farm down on the South Side of town, so a medium antenna would be needed. I dont have an issue mounting one in my attic pointing South, but would like a simple indoor option if possible. |
| I don't mind putting a larger medium range antenna in my attic, but have heard people having issues with signal degradation when splitting it. Do you split yours, and if so, does it effect the signal much? I know using a co-ax splitter you lose some db's, but hope it isn't enough to make it not worth the effort. I only have 2 TV's to connect, so hoping to make it as painless as possible. |
