| I have had mine for at least 15 years but my wife needs to get it. When I took the class it was just a few hours and a short test but from some of the stuff I'm reading its a bit more involved now. Anyone take the class in the last year or so and can shed some light on how it goes now days? |

I would strongly urge you to find a 2 day class. Will be easier in the long run. With on-line course, after that successful completion, your wife will have to make a one day field course (click for schedules) HE has changed and gotten more involved, but its still all common sense stuff. |

In the panhandle about an hr drive from amarillo, that's the problem with the 2 day deal. |
| I did some online thing and then went and sat for about 6 or 7 hours in a class. It was bs, don't cross fences, don't shoot birds in trees, this is what no trespass means, don't shoot your buddy. Then we shot BB guns in the parking lot. Took a test. Done. This was last year |
