| I am looking to get a 60in TV crated for when I move. I called one place and they wanted $475. Does anyone know a company in the DFW area that would be more reasonable? We will be moving on the 31st so it needs to be soon. |

We will be moving on the 31st so it needs to be soon. Why crated? You moving overseas on a small boat? U-haul sells TV boxes, not sure how good they are... I've kept my boxes because I had a basement in michigan and well I've had issues where Hard Drives have failed and they require special packaging for returns.. otherwise they don't replace/repair so I just keep my boxes for a few years on electronic's until the warranty is over... I have a small LCD screen that was packed in it's original box.. but it's acting funny since I moved here and sounds like something is loose internally... I would think a box in the shape of your tv with styrofoam pellets would be fine.. could use those 'air-bags' I imagine too! I would try uhauls website first, and perhaps try some local packaging/shipping stores...etc |
