Anyone have any recommendations for a good credit union? I'm looking for one that offers lockbox services for copies of my trust, tax stamps, and other important documents. When it comes time to buy a home, they may also get my business there.

If I switch to them, them having modern features such as online banking is a bonus.

I'm fairly central in the DFW metroplex, on the Fort Worth side, so something local would be best. But given how I do most of my banking online I wouldn't mind driving out there since it would only be to do something like take something out of/put something into the lockbox or sign some paperwork.

Unity one Credit union has been a great credit union to me in north DFW.

I just left Texans since they have been slowly adding in lots of 'fees' for services...  Good luck in your search...

We use Qualtrust through work. www.qualtrust.com

I use it more as a savings account than bank. Several car loans over the years and have no complaints.

Lock box services and safe deposit boxes are not the same thing.

Yeah. I was looking at texas3006.com earlier and noting which FIs are posted. That's why I'd rather stick with one that isn't posted and has a good rep.

HBank TX.  While it's not a credit union, they are awesome. Located at 360 &121 in Grapevine.

Walk in and they greet me by name, and ask about my kids, by name.  The president of the bank, Ken, answers the phone on Saturday morning, and helps with what you need.

I can't say enough good about them.

Texans was mis-managed into bankruptcy and is still under Federal conservatorship, AFAIK.

I would recommend USAA, or NFCU for DFW area.
