| I had hoped I might get simple constructive responses. Apparently each persons own brand of negativity is so unique it must be shared with the whole world. As opposed to just ignoring the thread because it didn't really apply to them. I feel enriched knowing One particular person would no way in hell drive to Alice for a class. To each their own as the saying goes. |

I can point out all the people in this thread that haven't been to Mario's meat market  I live in Alice and go to De La Garza in edinburg if I need good steaks but otherwise Marios is great Good to know that there is a great steak place around, as I am sure there will be a pile of us heading there on the first night after class (only 2 spots left and we are at maximum capacity). Is there any decent and authentic Mexican Food places around as well, our staff doesn't get to South Texas much, but when we do we like to have the real thing if possible. I'm actually from Alice, originally but been gone 20 years since joining the military. Going back to see the family and like to check out the site. Moving back to Texas too in July.... I love my guns too much and what better place to have them. |

There's not anyplace here to get a decent steak without driving to corpus christi. Seafood Shack on fm 665 has good meals There's a good BBQ joint called Crossroads BBQ on Biz 281 between 5th and 6th, but the service sucks. Food is great though. |
