To help others avoid this same situation...A 48" long Ruger M77 Target model in a hardcase, 2 adults, and assorted shooting gear will not fit in a Fiat 500.
No matter how much wishful thinking, cursing, and rearranging...it just didn't work. mm |

I've got a Rem 700, magnum with a muzzle break. Would not fit in the trunk of my Mustang inside a standard plastic hard case. I bought one of those Kolpin gun boot cases for an atv and used that. The tapered barrel end made it possible to stick it in one corner of the trunk, then squeeze the butt in.
The case isn't perfect, but I end up using it a lot. |

About the space for 2-medium small tackle boxes....or a skinny golf bag. All the space is eaten up by that folding retractable roof. mm |

Thanks for reminding me I need to go on a diet!
