A Direct TV bill from your mother does not count apparently. I've been spending some time in the dps office lately in the process of getting my cdl. A few weeks ago there was a guy who looked like he just got done making meth come in to get a replacement license and of course he brought nothing with him. They told him what he needed to bring and he left.
Then the fun started...his mother comes in 5 minutes later with her Direct TV bill certain that it would be sufficient to prove who he was and residency. After being told fuck no, in the most polite and professional manner the dps employee could, the mother then announced that he was her son and she could identify him therefore wanted to know what the damn problem was
