I just bought a set of ghost rocket trigger disconnect for both my G-19s and I dont have the small armors plate to do the install..

Anybody in or around the DFW willing to do the install for me for BEER...

Just pull the slide till it locks back. Then use a precision screw driver or hex wrench to compress the striker spring/plunger assembly and remove the back plate. That gets the slide removed from the frame, then just reassemble

File down the disconector tab a bit and repeat as necessary. Re-Install in the pistol frame, re-assemble the gun. Takes really about 15min.

I know all of that, but I don't have their orange peice for the back of the slide...

Do I even need it or will it be a pain in the ass without it.

Check on youtube I found some good videos on working on the glock.

Tuff,

You don't need it, you can use the stock glock back plate to do the work. The orange armor's piece just makes it faster.

The orange thing is just to check engagement.  You can still check it with the regular plate.
