I'm having issues again. Anyone else? Their site is constantly under construction.

You get what you pay for

It sucks when the zipcode search is down as I don't want to see when some jackhole in Austin is selling a Sigma for $400 when there are enough DFW idiots selling SIgmas for $400.

Exactly. Overpriced Glocks too. I'm not a Glock fan, but you can't make any money off of the Glocks on there. If there's a super good deal then it's a scam.

Seems like they finally got it fixed with the new server they moved it to and then it's been messed up for a week or so now again.  They need to quit messing with it, seems like every time they do it gets worse.  Not having the zip code search definitely sucks.  Not sure if the messages are all getting through either.  Hopefully they get it fixed soon.  While there are a lot of crappy ads/prices to sort through (not much different than anywhere else these days), it's a good outlet to buy/sell gun stuff.

.

I had some stuff for sale on there and recently found out that it was only sending 1 in 3 replies to my email.... the rest were going to the on-site message system.

Pretty sure I had it set up properly.

I see people post ads on here, then go on TGT and post them for about $100-$200 more than they do here. When you overprice things it only makes other people wanna do the same thing.

since there's no feedback system in place i will only do FTF there.  too many scams out there.  one of the improvements they need to implement is a decent feedback system so you have a better idea on the trustworthiness of the other party.  if the deal looks too good to be true on there, it's usually a scam.

You can also buy a $1200 M&P rifle there. I have bought and sold some guns on the site with good luck, but it's getting harder and harder to find decent deals. It's amazing how some of the douchebags put high end guns on there with crazy prices to scam people. I saw a guy selling a SCAR-17 FDE for $1200 that was NIB. When I contacted him he gave me an out of state address to send the money order since he was "deployed" and would not be in Texas for some time.

Got my M&P Pro for a steal of TGT!

I check it every morning and night just to see what they have. There are good deals to be had, but for the most part, the EE is your best bet.

I've bought three or four guns from tgt but I wouldn't try to sell there.

I bought a Sig p229 from there and didnt have a problem. I also sold a lasermax laser to a guy that i posted on there. No issues. But then again I will ONLY do a FTF and in a public place. I also always take one of my pistols just to be safe.

Back when the site was newer 3 or so years ago I did alot of buying and selling on there.  Bought a STI Spartan for $300 because I posted a "looking for a project gun" ad on there, and the gun had a broken thumb safety which I sent back to STI for a free replacement, and after fitting it was an amazing gun.  Now it seems everything is way overpriced.

Sad...

you think people would bitch about ARFCom not working over there if they had forums?

They do have forums.  A bit more nannyish than Arfcom.

I use it to sell only, never buy anything.  FTF for sure.

I think the pawn shops have discovered the place.  Lots of ads by "individuals" that sound the same with crazy prices.
