That allow steel cased ammo?
The range I frequent doesn't allow it, and honestly, the last time I shot steel cased rifle ammo in any quantity was back when Collin County Gun Range was still open Getting ready to get back into the AK games, and was wondering what ranges in or around Dallas were steel case friendly? Thanks for the help |

Gibsons outpost is the only range I know in dfw where they dont even look at or question your ammo. Ive shot tons of tulammo there. 123 lawson road in Mesquite. From the posts here, they seem to question everything else about you in an attempt to get you to never come back

Thanks for the help Steel cased? Or Steel jacketed? I don't know of any DFW ranges that care what the cases are made of. Garland Public Range only prohibits FMJ rifle ammunition. Top Gun prohibits tracer, armor piercing, and steel core. FMJ ammo may only be fired at 100 yards. |

Garland Gun Range won't allow anything .30 cal + right now, due to all the pending activity. No AK shootin' there until they complete the rebuild/build-out work.
I was under the impression that most (if not all) the immediate DFW outdoor ranges just didn't allow, or put restrictions on, FMJ. I don't recall any of them mentioning conditions regarding steel casing. ETA: Forgot, Elm Fork supposedly allows FMJ on their tactical bays. |
