That allow steel cased ammo?
The range I frequent doesn't allow it, and honestly, the last time I shot steel cased rifle ammo
in any quantity was back when Collin County Gun Range was still open
Getting ready to get back into the AK games, and was wondering what ranges in or
around Dallas were steel case friendly?
Thanks for the help

Gibsons outpost is the only range I know in dfw where they dont even look at or question your ammo. Ive shot tons of tulammo there.
123 lawson road in Mesquite.

From the posts here, they seem to question everything else about you in an attempt to get you to never come back

Steel cased?
Or
Steel jacketed?

I don't know of any DFW ranges that care what the cases are made of.
Garland Public Range only prohibits FMJ rifle ammunition.
Top Gun prohibits tracer, armor piercing, and steel core. FMJ ammo may only be fired at 100 yards.

Haltom City Rifle & Pistol Club, you will not be disappointed there unless you're more into blasting.  Proper range, very nice place, great price.

I believe Elm Fork allows it , but only on the 50 yard range,.

Unlike some, I shoot there all the time with never a problem. Steel cased ammo is fine just no FMJ.

Garland Gun Range won't allow anything .30 cal + right now, due to all the pending activity. No AK shootin' there until they complete the rebuild/build-out work.

I was under the impression that most (if not all) the immediate DFW outdoor ranges just didn't allow, or put restrictions on, FMJ.

I don't recall any of them mentioning conditions regarding steel casing.

ETA: Forgot, Elm Fork supposedly allows FMJ on their tactical bays.

If you dont mind a drive to the north, Magnum Shooting Sports in Sanger will let you shoot absolutely anything you can shoulder. Just dont shoot the trees intentionally.
Call before you go, he runs pretty odd hours.

If you're lucky, you'll be there in the son isn't around... the older gentleman is pleasant. Son's a douche.
