I have a friend
He called me today in a minor panic
In HS (She is 31) she dated this guy for a few years and they even got "engaged" junior year
Well something happened and they broke up and he began dating a new girl  he eventually knocked new girl up and while he was at the hospital with his new baby called my friend to say that he made a huge mistake and she was his destinty
Well not to long after that he kills the baby momma and is now serving a life (not life w/o parole) term in the texas DOC
During that time he has tracked her through 4 moves and always contacts her at her new address.  She has serious OPSEC issues with facebook, we are addressing that
Anyways, he has been contacting her mother (phone and letters) and friends (recently wrote one of her friends at her employer)
His general message is when he gets out he is going to come start a new life and wants to be with my friend forever, etc.
Its clear from reading some of the shit he has posted online, that he is delusional and takes no responsibility for killing a person (let alone the mother of his baby)
My friend and her friends/family want nothing to do with this POS and have told him so, yet he continues to contact them
The fucker has a facbook account that he is able to access from prison (how is that possible)

Anyways, what is the process for getting the communication to stop?  I know that the jail I work at, all mail must go through staff and we can intercept letters sent to people on a do not contact list.

If you are in DOC and can help with advice I would appreciate this.
If it helps, the inmate is in the Robertson unit in Abilene

Depends on what unit he is at. Some have limited computer access, however I am pretty sure Facebook would be blocked regardless, so that is a good question. Contact TDCJ and ask around. I would start with the offender search and then find out what unit he is at and then call that particular unit and discuss the situation with them. What you described is harassment and would have some very serious consequences if it is true. Best of luck to ya bud.

Have her contact her local LE. Make a report, she may be able to get him removed from where he is getting access to get his info from.
These thugs can legally find out things on us also.

There is no way to keep his people on the outside from finding out this info but if LE and  TDC Internal Affairs ( OIG ) get involved they can get the unit mail room to monitor his incoming and out going mail. But again, where there is a will, there is a way.
Definitely get LE involved.
