A couple nights ago I was watching Greta Van Sustern (sp?) on Fox. She was doing a segment on border security with him. As a Calif. native I know a thing or two about the real lack of border security.
In the interview Gov. Perry was wearing a LaRue Tactical shirt for the world to see. Pretty damn good for a man that might run for President. So how would he be as President? Is he a good Governor? |
|
I love Perry... but he is a politician, not the principled conservative that we need in 2012. He would make deals that are 51% good and 49% terrible just to stand and say that he "got something done in Washington". That and I think that the American people have had enough of Texas Governors as President for a good long while. |

Many in Arizona would like to know more about Gov. Perry. He stood with Gov. Brewer over the crap resulting from our SB1070, and I for one, think he stands a good chance of beating Obama. He also has the presidential look and presence to carry a lot of female Independents.

The Libetards would have a field day with his '' I shot a coyote with my CC pistol while I was running''. The libtards will truly use that as a ''unsafe person and a danger to the public and animals.'' |

If the Republican establishment had any balls they would not give a flying Chinese buttfuck what the libtards think. I sure as hell do not. It is well past time to make a stand before this great country of ours slides further down the toilet. ETA....fuck a bunch of coyotes too.

He is setting the groundwork for a VP slot. It will be a long, long time before the general population if the US elects another Texan as president. Truth. I was completely convinced in 2008 that Rudy was going to win the nomination and that when he did, Perry would be his VP. Not saying I supported Rudy, but I really thought that was going to happen and that adding Perry would have made sense. I doubt he'll run for President, but I can see him raising his visibility on the national level to where he would get selected as a VP. |

Perry would make a great VP if not a POTUS compared to what we have now. We have a very weak republican field thus far.
Four more years of an Obama who does not have to worry about re-election and this country is fucked. We would be talking a crashed economy and probably civil war before it was over. |

I was one of the last people to live on the ranch on Barton Creek that became the developement where Perry lives and shot that yote'. In 72' there were no coyotes there but when I took a break from college in 73' to deer hunt they had moved in en masse. I shot one from my stand and it was as if I'd shot a lion. Now they wait along the jogging trails and snatch the libtard's poodles. If Perry were for real he wouldn't condone Austin being a Sanctuary City and would do something about the illegals who have also moved in en masse, including the ones that mow his yard. Remember, he was the spokesman for Texas which boycotted Arizona for trying to exercise and enforce existing laws on the books about arresting illegals, saying "...thats not the direction thats right for Texas." |

Four more years of...Obama...... We would be talking...civil war People are far too lazy and self absorbed to do something that selfless and patriotic. Or put their family in danger. Actually most people don't have a clue what's going on in the world due to a lot of other distractions like...partying, cellphones, dumb reality shows, etc. That is what promotes, politics doesnt. |

That is exactly right. When a third world country like Mexico can invade and impose it's culture on America armed only with leaf blowers I don't see a civil war in the future. Trigger fingers have been replaced with texting fingers. |

A good example would be Great Britian over the last half century. Slowly boiling a frog would be a good example of America at this point. |

Yeah well I've got news for you: Anyone running for President is going to be a politician and they're all going to make deals. The difference is that Romney, Pawlenty and Gingrich are going to make deals that are 40% good and 60% terrible (if we're lucky). |

No, he didn't. He spoke poorly of the law and in fact has come out in favor of in state tuition for illegals. Ricky loves the illegals. All his friends in Bidness loves that cheap labor, and whatever bidness loves, little Ricky the government tit sucker loves. Oh, he'll toss the rednecks and reactionaries a little red meat now and then cause they don't have enough Mexicans imported yet to keep him elected and bidness only has so many votes but he's a good amigo to the illegals for the most part. |
