I have a question in regards to obtaining my Tax Stamp, and the completion of ATF Form 1, making and registering of a firearm:
How far down the form am I required to complete when I am going the revoke-able trust route? I assume I have to answer all the Yes-No questions, but am I required to attach a picture, etc.... Also, who does receiver engraving in the Dallas Area? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, 95707 |

Thanks, 95707 Theres no photo required for a corporate transfers, but you have to sign the form where it asks for the signature. |

Thanks, 95707 Basically, answer everything through box 11 (signature and date.) If you don't have an FFL or SOT, you can skip boxes 5&6. Make sure you put a specific caliber as well as barrel and overall length. They used to get approved with "multi" and a range of lengths, but not anymore. Also the reason field should be filled out with something real, like adding to collection or all lawful purposes. Saw a thread in the Class 3 section where a form was recently kicked back for Zombies. Even though there are some that got stamped, I personally wouldn't want the aggravation of an unnecessary delay just to be cute on a form. One of the main benefits of the trust method is to skip the photos and LE certification, so no picture or CLEO sign-off required, just a complete copy of your trust... Declaration, Certification and Schedule A. |
